I love Wordless Wednesday. In the photo, the cat looks comfortable on his blanket as this seems to be his own (sacred) space. He appears deep in thought/meditation.
It reminds me of my own special space, deep in meditation, with my Shamanic Grandfathers blanket, that is part of my sacred ritual, wrapped around me. The blanket gives me the feeling of my ancestors and the feeling of being safe. There are some days, when I feel bad or just having a bad day, I wrapped the blanket around me. I feel, instantly, safe and calm.
My blanket doesn’t look anything like the cat’s blanket but it gave me that feeling of safety. That is what I see within the cat’s eyes. A feeling of safety, while he meditates about his world.
