This post is the roundup of all of my writings on The Dark Time, The Dead Time, The Wild Hunt. Since the inception of my blog, Intentional Insights, in 2004, I’ve shared personal spirit encounters as a lead-in to the Dark Time. Most folx in soul tending practices don’t or won’t talk about when their work scared the shit out of them or pushed them beyond their boundaries. It happens, and the more we talk openly about these experiences, the more we will understand how to do the work we’re here to do compassionately and with respect to all aspects of life–and death.

That said, I’m not interested in fanning trendy paranormal flames. My focus is to ground the experience of modern deathwalking and soul tending into reality. We really don’t talk about what it’s really like much in soul healing forums. It’s all about the light and wellness and success. But sometimes it’s dark. Sometimes it’s shadowy, and I fuck it up. We fuck it up. It’s human to do so. Other times it’s very sweet and I come away with new allies. Every time it’s humbling and I’m reminded of how short each life is, and how big our awareness can be.

Thank you for all the messy spirit interactions you have. Thank you for fucking it up, because that means you’re showing up and learning. And however you do the season, bless you, bless all in what you do, and thank you for doing it.
