Traditional lore – Laguz represents the extremes of water, thus life force. It can allow us movement and hydration, and it can overpower and drown us.
Animistic lore – Laguz brings us back to Flow,as in Sacred Flow, Sacred Order. It restores our awareness of oursleves as part of All Things. In the way that all things return to the ocean, Laguz can represent home. It brings us elemental support to bring our awareness back to oneness, regardless of the extremes of our lives. In Runic Book of Days, of Laguz I note, “…anytime this rune comes up in a reading there is an emphasis on honoring the natural pace of things.”
