Intuitive emergence in compassion
Animism in the everyday
A new tribe of support for those whose lives are blessed with an uncontainable inner knowing.
When soul transformation becomes personal crisis… How do you process an intuitive experience the people around you don’t understand? When they don’t want to understand? How can you grow into your awareness when those closest to you can’t or don’t support you? These are questions every modern mystic has asked. At some point, every contemporary spiritual leader had a calling that was unexpected, that s/he didn’t know how to respond to let alone foster, that left them with no one to talk to about it.
History’s shamanic death is today’s spiritual emergency
We all walk between worlds, though not all of us are aware that we do. For those of us who are aware of that duality, and want to incorporate it more deeply through all that we do, community is vital. Living passion in the modern world is a beautiful yet tricky thing, which can create deep distress. Through centuries and across cultures, we have accounts of what’s referred to as the shamanic death, an experience of awe that so affects us we can no longer look at life the same. Now, we call such transformative experiences spiritual emergence–which when left unsupported become spiritual emergency, a crisis state that can bring on post-traumatic stress. Despite the gifts of intuition, we’re not all ready to work with it immediately, and in some cases it introduces itself to us in a way that is frightening or disruptive. When that happens, we need each other. Why would an amazing experience of the unseen generate crisis? Here are just a few reasons:
- Incompatibility with the existing belief system
- Lack of support from family or community
- Fear of change
- Fear of intuitive abilities
- Fear of loss of control
- Fear of social backlash/rejection
- Fear of emotional or psychological ramifications
- Avoidance of pain
- Lack of knowing what to do next

What is the Tribe of the Modern Mystic?
In an effort to meet the needs of clients (or their children) experiencing spiritual awakening, the Tribe of the Modern Mystic provides a community of animistic sharing amongst individuals remembering their mysterious selves, half-moon (bi-weekly) passion readings from various oracles, a monthly Fire Gathering via live video conference, and gentle mentoring. Our group does not provide critical intervention of PTSD, emotional distress, or other psychiatric concerns. This group isn’t based in shamanism, but animistic life in the everyday. This gathering is for those experiencing spiritual awakening, who wish to connect with a like-hearted group of individuals sharing in claiming their mystical power. This tribe allows you to determine the role of your gifts in your life, to manifest them, set milestones to develop them, and to move forward as a community leader and responsible caretaker of the Multiverse. For parents raising a highly intuitive child, this group provides you support, witnesses your challenges, and offers insight in how to cultivate your little one’s awareness. My path of shamanism is original and claims no culture other than that of my experience and the one of my creation. I do not seek to teach a branded path of shamanism, but to present a map for others to create their own animistic paths to awareness. I’m here to create a new tribe of support for children and adults whose lives are blessed with an uncontainable inner knowing. This is the Tribe of the Modern Mystic.
